Hagonoy Island is a tiny (140 meters long) & privately owned Island and a resort, it is located near the city of Bislig, on Bislig bay (province of Surigao del Sur, Mindanao, The southernmost island of the Philippines). Hagonoy is not a popular tourist attraction as other island retreats, but only because it is mainly herd of via word of mouth, with an amazing white sandy beach and coconut trees swaying slowly in the cool ocean breeze, the constant sound of the ocean waves, creates a perfectly idyllic setting. Entrance is about 1 U.S Dollar per person (50 Philippine peso) and a boat to get you there is about 4 U.S Dollar per person.
